"I love the Arts District! Inspiring art and great food, beer, coffee and entertainment!" - Joshua Nowicki
The Benton Harbor Arts Association (BHAA) was founded in 1998 as the Benton Harbor Arts Association to create a vital Benton Harbor Arts District through community outreach and advocacy for the arts. We are a 501(c)(3) grassroots organization dedicated to the revitalization of the Benton Harbor Arts District with a firm belief that “Art Builds Community.”
Donations and BHAA membership dues help us generate the funds we need to organize special and annual events that further our mission. We also provide financial assistance in the form of grants and scholarships for art education programs and events for community youth. Your gift, in any amount, will continue bringing us together to celebrate creativity and innovation. If you would like more information or to donate, please email us today.
BHAA is a 100% volunteer-based organization. We run on borrowed time from men and women that believe change is possible through the arts. Individuals who understand that a little help goes a long way. Whether you would like to help shape our marketing efforts, work on events, collaborate with other art groups or help around the office, we would love to have you join us. Let’s get together soon to talk about your interests.
